SIDNE Responses

SIDNE will provide audio feedback for important events through spoken
responses. To select the language of the spoken responses, see the "Selecting a
Language" section of this manual.
General and device-specific responses include:
SIDNE
SIDNE Says
Greetings
One moment please
SIDNE ready
[Device] connected
[Device] disconnected
Duplicate device connected, please
disconnect
Unknown device detected
LCD unavailable
or
LCD communication lost
Maximum number of connected
devices has been exceeded.

Meaning
SIDNE has received power and is
starting up
SIDNE is booting. Wait for further
instruction.
SIDNE is ready to use.
A device is connected to SIDNE and
ready to use.
A device has been disconnected from
SIDNE or powered down and is no
longer accessible through SIDNE
control.
Two devices of the same type (such as
two cameras or two powered shavers)
have been connected to SIDNE.
Disconnect one of the devices.
An unrecognizable device has
been connected to SIDNE. Contact
technical support to see if there's an
available integration package for that
device (+1.800.624.4422).
The LCD screen is not communicating
correctly with SIDNE. The system
still works, but the information on the
screen is unreliable. Contact technical
support (+1.800.624.4422).
Too many devices have been
connected to SIDNE. Disconnect one
or more of the devices.
