2.1.2 Special service conditions
For use under operating conditions other than those specified in item 2.1.1, the recommendations below must
be followed.
1. Special ambient temperature:
If the ambient temperature exceeds + 40 °C, reduce the rated current following the values indicated in table A.
2. Special altitude:
In installations in locations with altitudes above 2,000 m, the thermal dissipation capacity of the product is
reduced, and the dielectric strength of the air reduces the durability of the insulation. Contact us for further
details.

According to IEC 60947-2 and the maximum temperature rise in the terminal connection point to the busbar is 70 K.
2.2 ALTITUDE AND INSULATION DISTANCE
2.2.1 Altitude
The ABW Compact is designed for operation at altitudes below 2000 m. At altitudes higher than 2000 m, change
the nominal values under a service condition.
