9.2 ELECTRICAL OPERATION

9.2.1 Electrical operation
The closing operation is done by loading the closing spring via remote control.
If you press the trip key, the closing spring is automatically loaded by a motor drive and a circuit breaker is closed
by the closing key.

9.2.2 Electrical closing

The remote closing can be done by energizing the shunt closing release (DC). Apply the rated voltage to control
terminals A1 and A2, and close the circuit breaker.

9.2.3 Electrical trip

1. The remote opening can be done by energizing the shunt release or the undervoltage trip device.
2. In case of a shunt trip (SHT), apply the rated voltage to terminals C1 and C2.
3. In case of undervoltage trip (UVT), remote opening is also possible by short circuiting terminals D1 and D2 of
the UVT controller.

9.3 INSERTION OPERATION

9.3.1 Insertion procedures

1. Hold down the OFF key when the circuit breaker is in a trip condition, and insert the rod into the circuit breaker
body.
2. Make sure the extraction rod is inserted correctly, then push the locking plate and turn the extractor rod
clockwise to insert into the circuit breaker.
3. When the circuit breaker reaches the TEST position, the locking plate protrudes automatically, and the extractor
rod is locked.
4. Push the locking plate and rotate the extractor rod clockwise again until the locking plate protrudes, completing
the insertion operation. At this moment, the extraction position indicator shows the INSERTED position
(CONNECTED).
