14 INSPECTION AND TROUBLESHOOTING

14.1 INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE CYCLE

The purpose of the inspection of the ABW Compact is to prevent accidents in advance and to maintain its
performance by changing consumable and deteriorated parts in a timely manner. Make sure that the guide specifies
the inspection method and cycles before using the equipment.
Use

Cause
1. Voltage is not present or the undervoltage
release is damaged
2. Voltage disturbance has occurred in the trip device
1. In a short circuit state
2. Excessive current in the closing operation
1. The voltage supply of the trip device is too low
V<0,7Vn
2. Undervoltage circuit failure
1. Damaged mechanism
2. Deposition on the main circuit
1. Closing operation in short circuit
2. The Fault Trip Reset key will not reset
3. Instability in the product insertion/extraction
4. Antipumping function
5. The circuit breaker closing spring is not loaded
6. Problem in the shunt closing release power supply

Countermeasure
1. Check the voltage. Replace the damaged
undervoltage release
2. Check the voltage supply
1. Remove the cause; check the circuit breaker state
before closing it again
2. Review the network or change trip device
configuration
1. Check the voltage source. (0,7~1,1Vn)
2. Replace the undervoltage release
1. Contact the service center
2. Contact the service center
1. Remove the cause; check the circuit breaker state
2.Readjust the Fault Trip Reset key
2. Readjust the Fault Trip Reset key
4.Repeat the operation after removing the power from
the shunt closing release
5. Check the loading motor power supply. Check that
manual loading
is working. Contact the After Sales service or
replace the charging motor if necessary
6. Remove the shunt closing release power supply.
Power again after checking the
availability to close the circuit breaker. Contact
the service center if manual loading is not available
