Assembly
1. Depress the silver ratchet lockout lever to put
handle into non-ratchet mode (1). Depress the
silver insert release button (2) and open handle
completely (3). Make sure the silver insert release
button is not visible.
2. Feed insert into shaft of handle. Align the two insert
pins with the two grooves on the handle shaft.
3. Firmly close handle (5) while continuing to feed
insert into shaft until a click is heard indicating the
insert is locked into the shaft.

Disassembly
1. Depress the silver insert release button (1) and
pull the handle open completely (2) until insert
snaps out.
2. Pull insert out at distal end of shaft (3).
Assembly
1. Depress the silver insert release button (1) and
open handle completely (2). Make sure silver insert
release button is not visible.
2. Feed insert into shaft of handle. Align the two insert
pins with the two grooves on the handle shaft.
3. Firmly close handle (4) while continuing to feed
insert into shaft until click is heard indicating the
insert is locked into the shaft.

Disassembly
1. Depress ratchet lever (1) to open handle completely.
2. Unscrew connector (2) between handle and shaft.
Assembly
1. Depress ratchet lever (1) to open handle completely.
2. Feed proximal end of shaft securely into handle (3)
and screw connector (4) on tightly.

3. Pull shaft/insert of instrument away from handle (4).
Assembly

3. Insert proximal shaft/insert into handle as far as it
will go (5).
4. Firmly close the handle (6) while continuing to feed
shaft/insert into handle until click is heard indicating
the shaft/insert is locked into the handle.
