In the System Overview you can monitor and
change for both reactors:
Tr
– temperature of the reactor contents
Tr-Tj – heat flow trending
Tj
– jacket temperature
R
– stirrer speed
2. Running an Experiment
• Switch on the EasyMax
102 by pressing the
®
button on the front panel. After startup, the touch-
screen displays the System Overview.
In the Single Reactor View you can further monitor
and change for each reactor (see screen below):
V1
– dosing volume (if a dosing unit* is connected)
pH
– the pH value
* The dosing unit DU SP-50 is available as optional equipment
• Starting an experiment is done in Single Reactor
View. Switch to Single Reactor View by selecting
either Reactor 1 or Reactor 2 (see above).
"New experiment" appears if no experiment is
running.
• Press the Experiment & Export button then select
New experiment to name, start, and stop an
EasyMax
102 experiment.

• Stirring with a defined speed
Select the R button field to open a numeric keypad
for entering the desired speed for stirring of the
reactor content.
• Enter the stirring speed in rpm (rounds per minute).
• Press Start to start the stirrer.
Mechanical stirring is the default whenever a
stirrer is plugged in, otherwise magnetic stirring is
activated. The corresponding stirrer icon is shown.
