A severe recoil occurs if fasteners are driven into excessively hard
workpieces or into other fasteners. This can cause the tool to slip off
the workpiece.
The nailing depth of the fasteners depends on the hardness and
thickness of the wood, the depth setting and the set working
pressure.
 Ensure that no other persons are standing behind the wooden
block.
 Then check the function of the tool at low working pressure by
firing once.
 Adjust the nailing depth and working pressure according to the
hardness of the wood used.
The correct working pressure has been set when the desired nailing
depth of the fasteners is obtained with the lowest possible pressure.
Fire tool once
To fire the tool once, proceed as follows:
 Set the selector switch to "T" (single firing) (see page 31).
 Position the tool nose of the tool against the wood and press the
tool firmly against the wood.
 Press the trigger lever.
A fastener is driven into the wood.
 Release the trigger lever.
 Lift the tool off the wood.
WARNING
Risk of injury from slipping nails, nails driven in
too deeply or from tool recoil.
 Use the tool only on wooden materials.
 Ensure that the nailing depth is not larger
than the thickness of the wood.
 Press the tool firmly against the wood
when firing.
