The red LED "Power on" goes off for approx. 2 seconds.
After this time it begins to flash every 0.25 seconds.
At the same time this is the confirmation from the E.C.S. –control unit that the code of the new remote
control has been recognised.
3. Release the button. The red "Power on" LED goes out.
After switching the system on again via the button the system is ready for operation.

8. Emergency Operation

8.1 Releasing the emergency unlocking device

8.2 Resetting to automatic operation
The motor-driven spindle drive must be locked in order to reset to automatic operation again.
The following steps are necessary for this:

In order to operate the steady using the steady brace, the
motor driven spindle drive must be unlocked.
Move the emergency lock to the left or right, in order to
unlock the motor-driven spindle drive.
The emergency unlocking device is located outside of the
motor-driven spindle drive at the end of the steady support,
on which the hand crank is placed for manual operation.
Unlocking the motor-driven spindle drive means that the
steady can be raised or lowered. The plug to which the mo-
tor driven spindle drive leads is compulsory unlocked in this
process.
Position the corner steady brace SW 19 (additional acces-
sory) on the steady and raise/lower the steady as required.
