3. Field of application
The E.C.S. corner steady system enables the steadies on caravans and special trailers to be set,
parked and raised, electrically using a remote control.
4. Safety Information
Never allow the steadies to lower or raise unsupervised!
Careless or uncontrolled behaviour in the working area of the steadies could lead to consider-
able crushing injuries.
Switch the control off immediately after the function has been completed. Always remove the
key from the control, even if the caravan/trailer is temporarily steadied.
4.1 Before Operating the Steady System
•
On very uneven ground, place wheel chocks or wedges under the wheels.
•
Uncouple the trailer from the towing vehicle.
•
Check the condition of the base surface, use suitable shims if necessary!
•
No one is allowed in the caravan/trailer when the corner steady system is in operation.
Make sure everyone has departed from the Caravan!
