Fitting the Steadies
Bolt the steadies onto the AL-KO Chassis or the
AL-KO outriggers.
Caution: We recommend the use of AL-KO
original chassis parts (brackets – assembly
rails) or those parts that have been explicitly
approved by AL-KO. The reliability, safety and
suitability of these accessories have been de-
termined especially for use with the AL-KO
chassis. In spite of constantly monitoring the
market we are unable to assess or vouch for
other products.
Important: The two pegs in the reinforcement
plate must show through the steady, at the same
time the "peaked shaped lug" on the steady must
be positioned in the square hole on the outrigger!
(See section in illustration)
Tighten the screws on the AL-KO outriggers
again.
Setting the Pre-set stop
Push the emergency-unlocking slide, before
setting the pre-set stop (see 8.1).
Bring the motor into the required position either
by using the AL-KO steady brace or by hand,
so that there is still ~5mm between the steady
and the AL-KO outrigger. Push the emer-
gency-unlocking slide back. Position the motor
with the plug opening to the left.
Press the end stop nut against the corner
steady nut using a suitable tool. Screw the
grub screw in place using a SW 3 fixed span-
ner and tighten.
