These instructions apply to MTB pumps fitted with

Grundfos motors, type MG or Siemens. If the pump

is fitted with a motor make other than Grundfos,

2. Delivery and handling

2.1 Delivery

The pump is delivered from the factory in a carton

with a wooden bottom, which is specially designed
14
for transport by fork-lift truck or a similar vehicle.

2.2 Handling

Pump motors of 5.5 kW and up are supplied with a
15
lifting eye which can be used for lifting the pump
16
head (motor, motor stool and impeller).

Warning

The lifting eye must not be used for

lifting the entire pump.

The lifting facility must be of sufficient
16
capacity.

Pumps fitted with motors should be lifted by means
17
of nylon straps and shackles, if required. See fig. 1.
