Power-Related Problems
The power cannot be turned on.
Connect the power cord firmly to the AC
adapter unit and power outlet (p.15).
Insert the DC plug of the AC adapter to
Connect Station firmly.
The power is turned on or off by
the TV set's remote control.
If you set [Control via HDMI] to [Off]
under the [Preferences: e] tab, Connect
Station will no longer respond to the TV
set's remote control (p.71).
The power cannot be turned off
even when the power button on
Connect Station is pressed.
You may not be able to turn off the power
in such cases as when the firmware is
being updated. Wait a while before turning
off the power.
Connect Station gets hot.
Connect Station may get hot during use,
but this is not a malfunction.
The cooling fan and built-in
hard disk are always running.
The cooling fan and built-in hard disk are
running even in the standby state, but this
is not a malfunction.
The power to Connect Station is
turned off.
If Connect Station becomes hot, its safety
mechanism may turn off the power. If dust
has accumulated on the inlet or outlet for
internal cooling, remove it.
Wait a while for Connect Station to cool
down before resuming its use.
Importing Images
It takes time to recognize the card
or a camera/camcorder connected.
It may take approx. one minute to
recognize the card or a camera/camcorder
connected to the USB terminal.
Images are not imported.
Images that have already been imported to
Connect Station are not imported.
If new images are not imported, remove
the card or disconnect the device
connected to the USB terminal, then
restart Connect Station. After Connect
Station is started, import images again.
In the case of the NFC function or Wi-Fi
function, check that the function is set
properly (p.22).
Check whether the file format of the image
you want to import is compatible with
Connect Station (p.21).
If the same image is recorded on multiple
recording media within a camera supporting
multiple cards or a camcorder equipped
with built-in memory, only one image will be
recorded to Connect Station. As a result,
the number of transferred images displayed
on the camera/camcorder may be different
from the number of images saved to
Connect Station.
If there are any destroyed image files
among the data to be downloaded,
downloading images may not be
completed. Delete the destroyed image
files before downloading.
Images cannot be copied to an
external hard disk.
Check that an USB cable is connected to
the external hard disk.
If Connect Station and the external hard
disk are connected before Connect Station
starts, the external hard disk cannot be
recognized. Connect the external hard
disk after Connect Station starts.
