4 Assembly
Information
In general, assembly is performed by Würth
employees (installers or field service employees).
Conversion or repositioning of the shelves in another
location may change the conditions of use and
loading. If converting the shelving system or if there
are discrepancies in its erection, our ORSY specialists
should be consulted.
Fastening of the components to the wall and floor is
performed by the user/operator.

Risk of injury due to objects toppling over
Falling and toppling objects can cause injuries.
¾ For safety reasons, shelves with a height - depth

prevent toppling over through use of a screw
connection to the floor and/or wall.
¾ If shelf modules have integral drawers or pivoting
mechanisms, then similarly the operator must secure
the shelf system to prevent its toppling, irrespective
of the height - depth ratio.
Risk of injury due to sharp objects
During and after installation of the ORSY®shelving
system, the sharp screw heads represent a cutting
hazard.
¾ Wear the necessary personal protective equipment
