Fitting bicycles
NOTE
Only bicycles with a max. individual weight of 30 kg may
be transported on the bicycle carrier. See also note on
page 7 (Technical details).
Risk of injury!
Fit bicycles with the assistance of a second person.
Secure bicycles against slippage/tilting.

1. Press lever (24) and pull out tensioning strap (22).
2. Release clamp (20) with key ( 14) if necessary.
3. Attach clamp (20) with bolt (21 ) until required width of
bicycle frame is achieved.
4. Position bicycle on wheel rails (9a). Ensure spacer
holder (4) for second bicycle is positioned correctly and
does not touch fi rst bicycle.
5. Position holder (3) at a suitable position on bicycle and
tighten clamp (20) with bolt (21 ) then lock with key ( 14).
Remove key ( 14).
WARNING
Only secure holder to bicycle frame.
No components such as gear selector cable or brake
cables may be clamped.
Defective clamps must be replaced immediately.
Ensure that the holder is seated free of tension.
6. Guide tensioning straps (22) centrally at an angle
between two wheel spokes and into buckles then clamp
lever (25) (arrow).
NOTE
The threads of the screws of the clamps must be cleaned
and lubricated at regular intervals to prevent seizure of the
rotary knob.
NOTE
Guiding tensioning straps (22) at an angle through each
bicycle wheel ensures bicycle is secured to side.
7. Install second bicycle (facing opposite direction of fi rst
bicycle) into wheel rails (9b) etc. as described above and
secure with holder (4).
8. Remove bicycles in reverse order.
NOTE
The tensioning straps (22) are under extreme tension. To
release tension, press lever (24) in forcefully.

over the plastic components.
