Starting and using the machine

Follow all the instructions de-
scribed below with the help of
picture 1:
• Open the water tap 1 and make
sure that there is no leaking
hose connection.
• Turn on the electrical switch 7
and turn the knob 2 clockwise.
Make sure the display turns on.
• Once the machine is on, the
automatic level starts filling up
the boiler until the proper level
is reached. At this stage, the
symbol blinks on the display.
• After the filling phase, the
group heads start heating. The
set temperature value blinks on
the display.
NOTE
The heating sequence starts only when the Timer is deactivated
and the machine is turned on after it has been completely swit-
ched off through the main switch 2. This sequence is conceived
in order to save a good quantity of energy during the heating
up of the machine, thus avoiding problems of local electrical
system overloading.

• After the heating phase, the
temperature values stop blin-
king and the set value for each
group is shown.
• Straight afterwards, the boi-
ler starts to heat up and its set
temperature value blinks on the
display.
• During this phase, the brewing
groups can be used.
• When the boiler reaches the
correct temperature, the set va-
lue stops blinking and the unit
will emit 2 bleeps confirming the
machine is ready for use.
