4.3.4. ACCELERATOR PEDAL
The accelerator pedal (Item 3 Figure 12) is operated by pressing it and manages the motorsweeper . The
direction of travel (forward or reverse) will be decided from the position set via the direction selector (Item 4
Figure 12) .
4.3.5. START AND WORK LIGHTS SELECTOR
The direction selector, with 6 combinations, (Item 4 Figure 12) is used to control the direction of travel of the
motorsweeper (forward, backward and neutral) as shown in Figure 14 . In the models where the work lights are
included, the selector also controls the switching on and off by moving the lever up (lights on) or down (lights
off).
4.3.6. BRAKE PEDAL
Pressing the brake pedal, (Item 5 Figure 12) it is possible to act on the braking system of the motorsweeper,
stopping its operation .
4.3.7. PARKING BRAKE
This control is used to keep the motorsweeper braked when not in service and consists of a lever located
immediately above the brake pedal (Item 6 Figure 12) . Activation of the parking brake, with active electrical
services, is accompanied by a continuous audible signal .
4.3.8. BRUSH MOVEMENT SELECTOR
The control lever (Item 7 Figure 12) allows the central brush and the side brush to be operated simultaneously
or not . In the middle position (centre) both brushes remain inactive (Figure 15) .
