Using the specific control, guide the chute and the

Set the machine running (fig. 6.A) according to the

Press the auger control (fig. 6.C) to activate the

forward rotation of the auger.
Press the forward control (fig. 6.D) to engage the

traction.
Always keep a safe distance from the rotating
device and from the discharge chute
IMPORTANT If you must move away from the machine,
make sure the auger assembly is lowered
(tracked model) always remove the safety key (fig. 5.A).
NOTE Always use the engine at full capacity while us-
ing the machine.
5.4. STOP
When you have finished working:

elease the auger control (fig. 6.C) and the forward
control (fig. 6.D).
Remove the safety key (fig. 5.A) or move the throttle

control (fig. 5.C) to stop position.
When you have stopped the machine, it will take
a few seconds for the rotating means to stop.
Do not touch the engine after it has been turned
off. Burn hazard.
5.5. AFTER OPERATION
• Clean (par. 6.1).
• Move all controls forward and backward several
times.
• Check that the choke is engaged.
• Make sure there are no loose or damaged
components. If necessary, replace the damaged
components and tighten any loose screws and bolts.
Do not cover the machine until the engine and
the muffler are cold.

MAINTENANCE
The safety regulations to follow are described in chap.
1. Strictly comply with these indications to avoid serious
risks or dangers.
Before conducting any inspections, cleaning or
maintenance/adjustment interventions on the machine:
• Stop the machine and turn off the engine.
• Make sure that every moving component has come to
a standstill.
• Wait for the engine to cool down.
• Remove the spark plug cap.
• Remove the safety key.
• Use suitable clothing, protective gloves and goggles.
IMPORTANT Any maintenance and adjustment oper-
ations not described in this manual must be carried out
by your dealer or Authorised Service Centre.
6.1. CLEANING
Perform the cleaning operations with the
machine switched off. Do not attempt to remove
the snow from the discharge before having first
performed the following:
- Release the auger control.
- Switch off the engine.
- Remove the ignition key.
Always clean the machine after use. Observe the
following instructions:
• Use the paddle (fig. 1.I) to clean the discharge chute
and the machine from snow residues.
• Clean the engine with a brush and/or compressed air.
• Do no spray water directly on the engine.
• After cleaning with water, start the machine and
the auger to remove the water that may otherwise
infiltrate in the bearings and cause damages.
IMPORTANT Never use pressurised water. It may dam-
age the electrical components.
6.2. AUGER SHAFT
The auger is equipped with split pins and safety pins
designed to be able to break if subjected to a force
that could otherwise damage parts of the auger or the
discharge chute.
If one of these pins and / or pins is broken, it must be
replaced.
To facilitate the rotation of the auger, it is recommended
to periodically grease the holes and bearings on the
auger shaft.
To do these operations it is advisable to
contact the dealer or the Authorised Service
Centres.
7.
TRANSPORT, STORAGE AND
DISPOSAL
7.1. TRANSPORT
Whenever the machine is to be handled, raised, transported
or tilted you must:
• Stop the machine.
• Make sure that every moving component has come to
a standstill.
• Remove the spark plug cap
• Remove the safety key
• Wear heavy work gloves.
• Hold the machine in the points offering a safe grip,
taking into account the weight and its division.
• Use an adequate number of people suitable to the
weight of the machine.
• Make sure that machine movements do not cause
damage or injuries.
