3 USE
If the nebuliser is to be connected to a central medical gas sup-
ply system via a PARI CENTRAL, the instructions for use of
the PARI CENTRAL must be followed.
3.1 Preparing for treatment
The LC tracheostomy adapter and the PARI tracheostomy
mask are used instead of a mouthpiece.
Assembling the nebuliser
WARNING
Danger of shortness of breath
Using an old PARI tracheostomy mask without a slit in the
PARI Tracheo mask adapter can lead to shortness of breath
during the therapy.
• Use the PARI Tracheo mask adapter version for the PARI
tracheostomy mask as described in these instructions for
use.
CAUTION
Risk of impaired treatment
Damaged components and/or an incorrectly assembled
nebuliser may impair functioning of the nebuliser and thus
treatment as well.
• Check all nebuliser components and the accessories be-
fore each use.
• Replace any broken, deformed or seriously discoloured
parts.
• Follow the assembly instructions in these instructions for
use.
