∑ Changing the program
After programming is complete, unnec-
essary tracks can be deleted from the
original program or new tracks can be
added after a track originally programmed,
in the following way.
∑ Addition
1. When the PROGRAM indicator is lit,
press the [check] button to indicate the
track number in the display.
2. To add new tracks to a program, input
the track number using the numeric
buttons (this can even be done after
starting programmed playback); the
track is added after the indicated track
which was previously programmed.
3. To add a track to be deleted, specify
the track number you want to delete by
using the numeric buttons.
∑ Deletion
1. Press the [check] button to display the
track number to be deleted, then press
the [clear] button.
● The track number displayed will be
deleted and the next track advances up.
2. Repeat the same steps to delete other
track numbers. However, a track being
played back cannot be deleted.
3. When deleting delete-programmed
tracks (so they can be played back
again), press the [check] button to
display the track number to be deleted
then press the [clear] button.
Repeat Function
All or one of the tracks, or a specified
portion (between A - B) of a track can be
played repeatedly. Program playback and
Shuffle playback can also be repeated.
● To repeat shuffle playback, press the
clear
check
[repeat] and [shuffle] buttons (REPEAT
shuffle
and SHUFFLE light). Random playback
A-B
of all tracks is repeated.
● To repeat program playback, press the
√/ç
[repeat] and [program] buttons
play [å]
(PROGRAM and REPEAT light). All
programmed tracks are played back
repeatedly.
● To repeat delete-programmed playback,
press the [repeat] and [delete] buttons.
(REPEAT and DELETE light). All delete-
programmed tracks are played back
repeatedly.
● The repeat mode is retained even when
the power is turned off.
● To cancel Repeat playback and
continue normal playback from the
current track, press the [repeat] button
repeatedly until the REPEAT indicator
disappears.
● Press the stop [∑] button to abort the
operation.
∑ To repeat a single track
(Single repeat mode)
1. In the Stop mode, press the [repeat]
button, then press the [single] button on
the remote control.
The SINGLE and REPEAT indicators
light.
2. Press the play [å] button. The current
track will be repeated.
3. The track to be repeated can be
changed by turning the [√ track ç]
dial or by pressing the [√ / ç]
buttons or numeric buttons (1 to 9, 0,
+10) of the remote control.
4. Press the play [å] button.

∑ To repeat an entire disc
(All Repeat mode)
1. Press the [repeat] button.
The REPEAT indicator lights.
2. Press the play [å] button.
Playback starts and, when the end of
the disc is reached, the player will
return to the beginning of the first tune,
and
then
playback
repeatedly.
∑ To repeat a designated section
(A-B repeat mode)
A specified portion (between A and B) of a
track can be played repeatedly.
1. During playback, press the [A-B] button
on the remote control (A-B blinks) at
the starting point (A) of the portion you
want to repeat.
2. Press the [A-B] button again (A-B and
REPEAT light steadily) at the ending
point (B).
● The portion (A-B) will be played
repeatedly.
● To cancel Repeat playback and resume
normal playback, press the [A-B]
button.
● When you turn the [√ track ç] dial
or press the [√ / ç] buttons to play
a section not in the specified range (A-
B) previously set, press the play [å]
button to skip to the starting point (A).
● A-B repeat playback of portions
extending over more than one track is
not possible during programmed
playback, delete-programmed play-
back, single playback or shuffle
playback.
● When you specify an A-B section
during normal playback, pressing the
[single] button, [delete] button or
[program] button erases the designated
A-B section.
● When you specify an A-B section
during programmed playback or shuffle
playback, pressing the [√ / ç]
buttons to change the track erases the
A-B section.
