Buttons used on this page.
Program Playback
The program playback function allows you
to program up to 99 tunes (tracks)
(including "pause") for playback in any
desired order.
A "pause" can be programmed in the
program memory to stop programmed
playback in the middle.
∑ Programming required tracks
● When the [program] button is pressed
during normal playback, the track being
played becomes the first programmed
track.
● A "pause" cannot be programmed
during playback.
Example:
To program tracks in the order 2 T 4
T pause T 15 T 10 in the stop mode.
1. Press the stop [∑] button.
2. Press the [program] button.
The PROGRAM indicator lights in the
display.
3. Press buttons in the following order;
They are automatically stored in the
program memory in order.
● To program in the stop mode, select a
track using the [√/ç] buttons (the
track number blinks). Press [push enter]
on the dial to store it in memory (the
track number lights up).
● The same track can be programmed
repeatedly.
● If you make a mistake in the track
number entry, press the [clear] button.
Each press clears the current last track
in the program.
● While programming tracks, the track
number ("PA" means pause), the
program number and the total program
clear
playback time will be displayed in the

window.
● When a PA code is programmed, the

time display shows the total playback
time of the tracks after the PA code.

● When a programmed pause is reached,
playback will be temporarily suspended.
To restart playback, press the play [å]

enter] on the dial.
● Playback stops when the last
programmed track has finished playing.
● The programmed contents will be held
in memory even after programmed
playback has been completed or when
programmed playback is stopped by
pressing the stop [∑] button.
● When the stop [∑] button is pressed in
the stop mode, the contents of the
program are erased.
● To release the program mode, press the
[program] button, [delete] button, or
[single] button.
∑ To program using the [√ track
ç] dial.
1. Turn the [√ track ç] dial in the
stop mode to select the track (the track
number blinks).
2. Press [push enter] on the dial to store
it in memory (the track number lights
up).
● Repeat steps 1-2 to program additional
tracks.
● Press the pause [ƒ] button to insert a
pause in the program.
● Press [push enter] on the dial twice
successively to finish programming and
start playback.
∑ Delete programming
This is the opposite to normal program-
ming, and is used to program tracks which
are not to be played. Use it when there are
tracks on the disc you don't want to listen
to.
● When the [delete] button is pressed
