7 Maintenance
The guidelines described in this chapter satisfy the minimum requirements.
Depending on the operating conditions, the filtration device may be subject to further
instructions to keep the instrument in optimal condition. The mentioned time intervals
apply to single-shift mode of operation.
Maintenance works described in this chapter may only be carried out by specially
trained personnel of the operator.
− The spare parts used must comply with the technical requirements specified by
Kemper GmbH company. This is always assured when using original spare parts.
− Ensure safe and environmentally friendly disposal of operating substances and
replacement parts.
− Follow the safety instructions mentioned on the following pages!
7.1 Service/maintenance
Regular service, maintenance and inspection have favourable effect upon reliable
operation of the filtration device.
Service/maintenance of the filtration device is virtually limited to discharging
condensate from the compressed air reservoir, checks of the set values, visual
checks for damage and leakage and cleaning of external surfaces.
CAUTION

Skin contact with dust, etc. can result in irritation of skin in case
sensitive individuals!

There is a risk of severe damage to the respiratory organs and
respiratory system!

In order to avoid contact and breathing of dust, use protective
clothing, gloves and breathing apparatus with ventilator such as
KEMPER autoflow XP or respiratory mask with filter of FFP2 class
according to EN 149.

Prevent in release of harmful dust at cleaning in order to avoid
damage of health of the persons who are not appointed to carry out
work.
Notice
−
Do not clean the filtration device with compressed air; it could result
in dispersion of dust and/or dirt particles in surrounding atmosphere.

Ensure sufficient lighting for execution of maintenance operations.
