Diagnostic

8.1 Bus coupler diagnostics display
The LEDs on the front panel of the bus coupler show the
messages of the following table.
Error Description
Voltage within tolerance
off No voltage available
blink Voltage < 19.2 V or > 28.8 V
Voltage within tolerance
off No voltage with sensors/logics
blink Voltage < 21.6 V or > 26.4 V
DDL communication functioning
red No DDL communication
(See chapter 8.2 Software diagnosis)
The distribution voltage is measured internally at the
BUS OUT X72 connection.
The LED DDL lights up red in the case of an error and
shows that no data communication is taking place on the
DDL. This could be caused by the following:
Different baudrate settings for the individual DDL

participants
Spaces in DDL addressing
W
DDL address entered twice
W
DDL addresses 0 and 1-14 assigned at the same time
W
Configuration changed during operation
W
