Setting diagnostic messages

To select diagnostic messages the S3 DIP switch, position 5, is used.
At delivery, all switches are set to the OFF position. That is, no
diagnostic messages are sent to the bus master (S3.5 switch
position OFF).
O
Activate diagnostic messages by setting the S3.5 switch position ON.
Changes will be activated after a power reset.
This setting can also be assigned using the Module Control
Register. If assigned via the Module Control Register, bit 3, the
position of switch S3.5 is irrelevant.
The queued diagnostic messages are shown on the LEDs even if the
diagnostic messages are turned off on the master.

Setting monitoring threshold for valve supply U

and U
Q2
The threshold for valve supply U
valve series with the S3 switch, position 4. At delivery, the threshold is
set to 21.6 V (–10%) (S3.4 set to OFF), but can be changed to 20.4 V
(–15%) (S3.4 set to ON).
If the valve supply voltage drops below this threshold, a diagnostic
message will be generated.

Selecting the valve supply

The valve power supply can be selected block-wise with the S4 sliding
switch. It is possible to switch between the U
the external supply.
