11. CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS
IT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED to touch the
machine's mechanisms or remove its front bonnet
when it is running.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
The electrical features of the machine are indicated on
its name plate (1 FIG.1): make sure the frequency and
voltage requirements of the machine are fulfilled by
the motive power supply system of the environment where
the machine is being used.
Make sure the mains is effectively grounded
and that the sockets and adapters used
guarantee the continuity of the grounding wires.
Failure to comply with the instructions may
give rise to serious damage and injuries
and also forfeit the guarantee.
1) Make sure the switch (1 FIG.6) is OFF
2) Insert the plug (4 FIG.6) into a power supply socket.
3) Turn the machine on with the switch (1 FIG.6). When
it has been turned on, the switch will light up.
4) Grasp the handle (2 FIG.6) and release it by pressing
the release lever with your foot (1FIG.7).Spread the
detergent by pulling the lever (3 FIG.6).
Caution: if the handle is tilted too much, the
machine goes off for safety reasons.
5) To wash and dry the floor, move the machine along a
pattern of orderly and slightly overlapping "strips".
6) For particularly dirty surfaces, it is advisable to switch
off the suction motor and insist on the dirty surfaces
by means of the combined action of the brush and
the detergent.
Important, use brushes suiting the kind of floor
you have to wash.
Grey brush: delicate floorings (wooden floors,
etc.).
Black brush: industrial and outdoor floorings.
(OPTIONAL)
Use only the brushes recommended in this
handbook.
Caution, do not drive over the power supply
cord during machine use.

the machine, work along straight strips of floor.
