turntable

at
the correct
speed.

Removing
the turntable
The turntable is
secured
by a
C-ring
seated
in a
notch
on
the
turntable shaft.
Use
a
screwdriver
to
remove
the
C-ring,
then
lift
off
the
tu
rntable.
lmportant:
When
handling the
turntable
avoid
touching
the
inner
surfaces
with
your
fingers
as
skin oils
can
cause
slippage
(and
resulting)
ptich
deviation)
between
the
idler
wheel
and
the driving rim of
the
turntable.
Adjusting tonearm
set-down
position
With
automatic
start,
the
stylus
descends
automatically
into
the
outer
groove
of
the
record.
lt is
possible,
due
to
peculiarities
in
the
mounting
of a
cartridge.

stylus may
descend
too far in
or
too far
out
on
the
record.

Connecting signal
sources
Two
standard
receptacles
(DlN 41
524)
are
provided
for
connecting
Tuner,
Tape
Recor-
der, and similar
signal sources.
The
desired
input
is
selected
by
the
input
selector switch.
TUNER
A
tuner
(receiver
less
output
stage
and
loud-
speakers)
may be
connected
to
this
input.
A
complete
radio should
not
be
conriected
to
this
input but
rather
to
the
Tape
Recorder
i
n
put.
We recommend connection
of
the
Dual HiFi-
Stereo-Tuner
which
with your
stereo system
forms
a
technically and visualy
pleaing
corn-
bination.
A
connection
cable is
included
with
each
Dual
hifi
stereo
tuner
so
it
can
be
connected
to
your
home
stereo music system.
An additional
cable
is
not
required.
TAPE
This
receptacle
is
provided
for the connection
of
monaural and
stereo
tape
units.
To
play
back
pre-recorded tapes,
the input
selector
switch
of
the unit
shouid be placed
in
the
"TAPE"
position.

regard
to
the
audio
cable,
part,

this
special
accessory
can
be obtained
from
your
local
dealer.
Recordings
of
any
signal (Phono,
Tuner,
ect.)
connected
to
this unit
can
be made
without
re-connecting any
cables.

The
program
chosen
by
the
input
selector
switch
is
also
fed
to
the tape recorder jack
and
can
be
recorded
without interfering
with
normal
listening,
The
recorder
take-off
is
independent
of
loudness
and
tone
control
settings. Recorder should
be
connected accor-
ding
to
the
manufacturer's instructions.
Adapting
for
other
power
freguency
Adapting
thd unit for
use
at a
different
power-line frequency
is
accomplished
by
changing
the
motor
pulley
(A)
,
which
is
secured
to
the
motor shaft
by
a
screw
and
can
be
reached
by
removing
the
turntable.
Caution:
Handle
the
motor pulley
carefully.
A
bent
pulley
causes
rumble.
