Important: To guarantee that your smartphone is sealed against dust and waterproof,
make sure that the tray is fully inserted and locked.
Switching the phone on and off
Press and hold the phone's On/Off button and wait a few seconds until the display
screen turns on.
When you switch on your phone for the first time or after performing a data reset, follow
the on-screen instructions to set up your device.
Once the phone is on, this button can also be used to:
• Lock/Unlock your touch screen with a single short press
• Enable voice assistance by pressing and holding
To shut down your smartphone, to restart it, or to access emergency calls, by default,
you need to simultaneously hold down the On/Off button and the Volume + button.
If you only want to press the On/Off button to shut down your phone, go into Settings
> System
> Motion and gestures
Tips and precautions to take for charging your battery, and information
on the specifications relating to charging capacities and compatible
charging devices
1. Connect the cable and the mains power adaptor via the USB-C port. Next, open your
phone's waterproofing cap and plug the other end of the cable into your phone's USB-C
port.
To preserve the phone's USB-C cable and USB-C port, we recommend opening the
waterproofing cap and pivoting it approximately 90° downwards. This simplifies the
connection process and avoids the waterproofing cap exerting continuous pressure on
the cable and, in turn, on the USB-C port.
