5.1.3 Manual locking

• Rotate the rim on the tyre changer Flange until
the driving pin 1 is inside one of the rim concentric
holes.
• Arrange on the Quick Ring Nut with Pin 2the cone
suitable to the rim being serviced.
• Insert the complete locking Quick Ring Nut in the
middle of the rim.
• Lift the peg 3 positioned on top of the Pin and drive
the Locking unit fully home inside the wheel holder
seat.
• Release the central Pin 3 and make sure that the
locking balls engage inside their seats.
• Move the cone and the Quick Ring Nut close to the
rim, by releasing the ratchets 4 of the ring nut.
• Open the operating handles 5 and then fully tighten
the ring nut.
The wheel is now locked and ready for the tyre
