WARNING: this operation must be carried out without
making the wheel rotate.
Insert the supplied plastic lever between rim edge and
upper bead inner part (Figure 5.4.2).
Rotate the wheel, until tyre upper part is completely
removed.
Complete the demounting phase as described for
standard wheels.
5.4.2 Mounting the Tyres
NOTE :
The following operating procedures are integrated with
those for standard wheels, in this USER'S MANUAL.
Mount tyre lower bead, as described for standard
wheels.
Upper bead mounting phase starts as shown in Figure
5.4.3, hence by moving the valve at 5 o'clock compared
to tool.
Upper bead mounting phase starts with the positioning
of tools, as shown in Figure 5.4.3, by following the
instructions set forth for standard wheels.
Start wheel rotation in order to position valve as shown
in Figure 5.4.3.
Any pressure sensor present inside wheel will not thus
be damaged during tyre mounting.
Use the manual clamp and the bead presser together,
as shown in Figure 5.4.4. Smear the contact surfaces
with plenty of lubricant. In addition, keep the tyre bead
under rim edge, using also the bead breaker disc, as
shown in Figure 5.4.4.
Continue the mounting procedure by activating the
step-by-step wheel rotation, in order to fi t bead presser
inserts between rim and tyre, as shown in Figure 5.4.5.
Smear the contact surfaces between wheel and rim
with plenty of lubricant.
