DC cables ( = 5–10 mm).
|
Material damage due to damaged cables
If damaged, the strands may break and overheat.
Do not cut or damage the strands when stripping the insulation.
|
Risk of injury due to short circuit
Cables that are stripped too far can cause a short circuit.
Only strip the cables as far as absolutely necessary.
|
Connect the string plus connection and the string minus connection
1. Loosen the metric screw connection (see Fig. 3.3, page 15) and guide
the string plus cable through it.
When connecting a double-insulated cable, note the following:
Observe the maximum cable section of 6 mm
|
If the cable, including insulation, is thicker than the terminal insert,
|
handle the cable so that it is inserted into the terminal in a way that
is completely protected from contact.
2. Strip and remove the insulation from the string plus cable (12–13 mm).
3. Lay the string plus cable. Note the following:
The cable must not be able to enter the fan.
|
Lay the cable so that it does not exert any mechanical pull or
|
pressure on the terminal.
Risk of injury due to incorrect allocation of conductors.
Incorrectly allocated conductors may damage the unit and cause a short
circuit.
Always assign the string plus connection and string minus connection
|
of a string to the same terminal of the relevant terminal block.
Assign the string plus cable to the plus terminal.
|
Assign the string minus cable to the minus terminal.
