1. Remove the RJ-45 plug of the communication cable (3) from the CAN
distributor.
2. Remove the CAN distributor (2) from the top-hat rail (1).
3. Plug the new CAN distributor onto the top-hat rail. Please note that:
If you have a power supply for Conergy or Voltwerk 2-axis tracking
|
systems, attach the 2 mounting rail bus connectors (included in the
delivery) on the rear of the housing for the CAN distributor.
4. Insert the RJ-45 plug of the communication cable.
The device has been replaced.
Start up the device according to the specifications of the monitoring
system. For details, refer to the technical documentation for the
monitoring system.
Restart the CAN distributor
Prerequisites
The DC disconnect is switched off (Off).

You have ensured that all connected SmartConnect devices are
|
voltage-free. Switching the DC disconnect to Off does not guarantee
that the device is free of voltage.
The central inverter is isolated.
|
The SmartConnect is secured against being switched on.
