The monitoring unit (X) is always connected to the terminated connection
(A). If the CAN distributor does not have a direct connection to the
monitoring unit, the CAN distributor is connected to the terminated
connection (A) that is closest to the monitoring unit.
An additional CAN distributor can be connected to the terminated
connection (B). The CAN bus is terminated because the connection exists
between the terminated connections (A) and (B) of the CAN distributor.
If there is no CAN distributor, the CAN bus is interrupted. All the following
CAN distributors cannot be monitored by the monitoring system:

(X) Conergy or Voltwerk monitoring unit
If you use the non-terminated connections (C) and (D), the CAN bus must
be terminated at both ends (R = 120 ).
If you use only one of the two non-terminated connections (C) and (D)
(e.g. you only use (C)), the second non-terminated connection, e.g.
connection (D), must be terminated (R = 120 ).
