1. When the adjustment is per-
formed clockwise with the outer
hexagon wrench, the spring pre-
load increases, and the shock
absorber becomes hard as a
whole; when the adjustment is
performed counterclockwise, the spring preload
decreases, and the shock absorber becomes soft
as a whole.
2. When the middle adjusting rod of the left shock
absorber is rotated clockwise with the slotted
screwdriver, the compression damping force of the
shock absorber increases. When the middle
adjusting rod of the right shock absorber is rotated,
the rebound damping force of the shock absorber
increases. On the contrary, when it is rotated coun-
terclockwise, the corresponding compression or
rebound damping force decreases.
Rear shock absorber adjustment
Configuration I of rear shock absorber:
The rear shock absorber of the motorcycle is mainly
composed of the shock absorber spring and the
hydraulic damper, which can be adjusted according
to the driver's wishes, bearing conditions, road con-
ditions and other factors. When adjusting it, support
the motorcycle on the side stand firmly.
According to the road conditions, to improve the com-
fort of the rider, use the adjusting knob 1 at the lower
end of the shock absorber to increase or decrease
the shock absorber damping force: use a slotted
screwdriver to rotate the adjusting knob clockwise or
counterclockwise, and the damping force of the
shock absorber also increases or decreases, thereby
changing the slow or fast rebound of the shock
absorber.
In addition, increase or decrease the compression
damping force by the compression adjusting knob at
the end of the shock absorber mounting base 2.
Rotate the compression adjusting knob clockwise or
counterclockwise by hand and the compression
damping force of the shock absorber also increases
or decreases, thereby changing the slow or fast
compression of the shock absorber. The compres-
sion adjusting knob makes a "click" sound during
adjustment. If there is no sound, the adjustment limit
has been reached. Please do not continue to adjust
it in this direction.
