The engine is started by electric starting, and the
ECU will provide the necessary amount of oil for
starting the engine according to the ambient tem-
perature and engine conditions.
Warning
Do not start the engine in a poorly ventilated or
unventilated room. Do not leave a motorized motor-
cycle for a single moment when left unattended.
Caution
Do not overrun the engine when not driving, or it
will overheat and may damage internal engine
components.
Getting start
Squeeze the clutch lever, pause for a moment, and
press the shift lever down to engage first gear.
Rotate the throttle control handle toward you, and at
the same time, release the clutch grip slowly and
smoothly, and the motorcycle will begin to move
forward.
Using the transmission
The transmission enables the engine to run smoothly
within the normal operating range. The driver should
choose the most appropriate shift for the general con-
ditions. Instead of slipping the clutch to control the
speed of the vehicle, it is better to slow down and keep
the engine running within the normal operating range.
Driving on slopes
When entering the climbing road, the motorcycle will
start to decelerate and appear underpowered. At
this time, it should be changed to a lower gear, so
that the engine will run within its normal power
range, and shift gears quickly to avoid the motorcy-
cle losing momentum.
When going downhill, the engine shifts to a lower
gear for easier braking. Be careful not to rev the
engine too high.
Applying the brakes and parking
To fully close the throttle, release the throttle control
grip while applying the front and rear brakes evenly,
shifting down to lower the speed.
Before the motorcycle comes to a stop, the clutch
lever (disengaged position) will be gripped and
