Oil level and oil change
Before starting the engine,
check the engine oil level.
When checking the oil level,
keep the car upright on a flat
ground and observe through
the oil sight glass to see if the
fluid level is between the L
and H scales. When the oil
level is lower than the L position on the lower scale
line, open the upper filler cap 1 and add oil to the H
position on the upper scale line.
Change oil and oil filter
Notice
When changing the oil, it should be carried out
when the temperature of the engine has not cooled
down and the body is supported by the support
frame (to ensure that the motorcycle is on a horizon-
tal plane and the body is kept vertical) to ensure that
the oil is drained quickly and completely.
Engine oil capacity is about 2.6 L, 2.0 L (without oil
filter replacement) or 2.2 L (with oil filter replace-
ment at the same time) when changing
1. When draining the oil,
place the oil drain pan
under the oil drain posi-
tion, and remove the oil
drain bolt 1. After com-
pletely draining the oil in the tank, re-install the
oil drain bolt with a torque of 20 - 25N.m. Steps
to replace the oil filter 2:
• Use the special tool for
oil filter removal to jam
the oil filter, turn it
counterclockwise, and
remove the oil filter that needs to be replaced.
• Wipe the oil filter and the mount-
ing surface of the engine with a
clean cloth.
• Use a new oil filter of the same
type, and apply a layer of lubricat-
ing oil on the O-ring (A).
Notice
Please do not remove the oil filter O-ring, as this
will cause the sealing ring to not be installed prop-
erly, resulting in oil leakage or engine damage.
