level surface and keep the body upright. Observe the
coolant volume in the expansion kettle from the front
right side of the vehicle, keeping the coolant volume
between the H and L marks. If the coolant level is
lower than the L mark, remove the cap plug 2 of the
expansion kettle and add coolant, or go to a service
center to add coolant.
Warning
This operation can only be performed by a service
center. Coolant can be added only after the engine is
turned off and cooled. To avoid burns, do not open
the coolant filler cap until the engine is cool. The cool-
ing system is under pressure. In some cases, the
coolant contains substances that are flammable and,
when ignited, create an invisible flame. Avoid leaking
coolant on hot motorcycle parts, as burning after a
leak can cause severe burns.
Because coolant is a highly toxic liquid, avoid con-
tact and inhalation, and keep it away from children
and livestock. If you inhale coolant, seek medical
attention immediately. If your skin or eyes come
into contact with coolant, immediately wash with
clean water.
Catalytic converter
In order to meet the needs of environmental protec-
tion emissions, the muffler of this model is equipped
with a catalytic converter.
The catalytic converter contains precious metals,
which can purify harmful substances in motorcycle
exhaust, including carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons
and nitrogen oxides.
Because catalytic converters are important, a faulty
catalytic converter can contaminate the air and
damage your engine performance. Always use gen-
uine parts when replacement is required.
Notice
The part where the catalytic converter is located is
a high temperature area, please do not touch it.
Charcoal canister
This model is equipped with
motorcycle fuel evaporation con-
trol device: carbon canister.
Carbon canister is located in the
m i d d l e p o s i t i o n a b o v e t h e
engine. The carbon canister is
