7) The waffles are ready after about 5 minutes. Doughnuts require around 2–3
minutes. These times can vary depending on the type of batter and personal
taste. Undo the lid locking device 0, open the cover and remove the waf-
fles/doughnuts.
8) When you have finished baking waffles/dougnuts, disconnect the plug from
the mains power socket.

Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents. These can damage the
upper surfaces of the appliance.

Under no circumstances should you clean the appliance in the dishwasher!

Do not wait too long to start with the cleaning. Wait until the appliance
has cooled down sufficiently that you can touch it without the risk of being
burnt. Then the food particles can be removed more easily.

As the undersides of the removable plates are not coated, they can easily
stain after cleaning in the dishwasher. However, this does not affect the
function.
We therefore recommend cleaning the removable plates by hand.

Wipe the housing with a damp cloth. For stubborn soiling use a mild detergent
on the cloth. Wipe off any detergent residue using a cloth moistened with
clean water.
■
Take out the removable plates and clean them in warm water with a little
detergent added.
■
If fats or food should be under the removable plates and in the space in
which the heating coils 2 4 are located, proceed as follows:
–
Dab the fats or other liquids with a piece of kitchen paper.
–
Remove stuck-on burnt residues with a wooden spatula or small wooden
skewers.

Dry all parts well before re-use.
