4.4.15. Installing the "MVride" App
The "MVride" smartphone app completes
your driving experience by directly connecting
the motorcycle to your phone.
The connection protocol between the dash-
board and the smartphone is BLE 4.0 and later ver-
sions. The "MVride" App is available for free down-
load in the Mac App Store
Perform the following operations for the first
association of the App to your motorcycle:
1. Make sure the vehicle dashboard is on.
2. Install the "MVride" App on the smartphone.
3. Open the App near the motorcycle.
4. Click on "Get started" (Fig. a).
5. Allow sharing of the GPS data by clicking on
"Allow", then again on "Allow" (Fig. b).
6. Allow access to the image gallery by clicking
on "OK", then on "Allow" (Fig. c).
7. Click on "Open settings" (Fig. d), then search in
the list of the Bluetooth devices for the motorcy-
cle to be paired (Fig. e). If the smartphone has
never been paired with the motorcycle before,
perform the procedure described in §4.4.6.
8. Allow the use of Bluetooth by clicking on
"OK", then on "Pair" (Fig. f).
