q Open side stand
With the vehicle stopped: After turning on the engine,
the system checks the condition of the side stand. If it is
extended or open, the display shows the danger sign
shown in the picture. If the side stand remains open, the
system turns off the engine as soon as a gear is enga-
ged to take off.
WARNING
In order to be allowed to start the vehicle,
ensure that the side stand is fully withdrawn
before engaging a gear.
During travel: If the side stand accidentally opens
while the vehicle is travelling, the display shows this
error message.
WARNING
If there is an indication that the side stand
opened during travel, close it immediately in
order to avoid losing control of the vehicle
which could result in an accident.
