alternator (Fig. 21).

Based on the socket terminals in Fig. 21, we determine the alternator type. In this case, terminal
C and the association with Japanese vehicles define the alternator type as C JAPAN. Next, using
Appendix 1, we identify which diagnostic cable wires need to be connected to the alternator
socket. The connection scheme is provided in Table 4.
