Error conditions found in the welder are described in this para-
graph and the three displays on the operator's interface (fig. G)
used to view them:
• ERROR Display (abbreviated dE): the wording ERR will flash
on this display;
• ERROR DESCRIPTION Display (abbreviated dDE): flashing
messages alternate on this display giving first the TOTAL NUM-
BER of errors (Es. 02) detected and then the general DESCRIP-
TION of the first error detected (Es. PRG);
• ERROR CODE Display (abbreviated dCE): the number of the
code (4 digits) of the error detected flashes on this display (or
the first error found should there be more than one error).
Table 6 gives eventual error messages eventually appearing on
the various displays and diagnosis of the various errors.
In addition, to facilitate the diagnosis of any eventual problems

of communication with the peripherals, a change has been made
to the leds located on the "digital card cpu front panel" (see table
7 and fig. H)
In the event of failed communication with motor control digital
card, in addition to the signalling by the DL1 LED, access to the
MIG/MAG, MIG PULSED, and MIG DOUBLE PULSED welding
processes was impeded.
The machine will automatically reset itself from MMA to TIG and
vice versa, while it will be impossible to select the modes that
require the use of the towing unit.
This is done to allow our technical assistance (that should be
called in every time a error message appears on the welder
operator's interface) to be able, in the shortest time possible af-
ter being informed by the user, to resolve the problem with greater
facility.
