7.4___SAVING THE PARAMETERS

To save the parameters set in the programming menu,
press the
key , holding it down for 5 seconds and
waiting for the SAVE PAR message to appear.
7.5___PROPORTIONAL CURRENT CONTROL
Proportional current control is always possible for all types of control, by means of the following
variables:
PHS
PHE
CLS
CLE
The variable RMA = 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA can be used to set the dynamics of the current output.
In order to control it, it is necessary to have a pump with a current input of 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA.
The current output can also be used for a paper-type recorder.
The minimum current value MMA makes it possible to approach the SET POINT with a degree of
metering sufficient to exceed it, otherwise in the vicinity of the set point the pump might run all the
time at the minimum speed without ever stopping.
7.6___PULSED PROPORTIONAL CONTROL
Outputs 20 and 21 (connection to the pH pump) and 22 and 23 (connection to the chlorine pump),
described on page 4, can be used to connect a metering pump controlled on the basis of a number
of pulses per minute.
By setting the SPM pH parameter and Chlorine, present in programming menu PRG2, and the
proportional band (BP), it is possible to achieve control with pulses proportional to the variation of
the measured value.
Example:
Set Point = 7.20 pH
SPM pH = 20 strokes
BP pH = 0.20 pH
Set Point = 1.00 ppm
0 pH
14.00 pH
0 pH
14.00 pH
