4___SWITCHING ON AND PRELIMINARY SETTINGS
When the instrument is switched on, the message PC95 S
14 will be displayed, indicating its name and the revision
number of the software that has been loaded.
The instrument displays the message HOLD --- After a
waiting time of about 10 seconds, during which the
instrument carries out a software test, the pH and chlorine
measurements will be displayed. Clearly, these values are
not accurate, since no calibration of the probes has been
carried out.
Warning!!!
Switch off the pumps before powering up the instrument,
since the measurement error described above could cause
incorrect metering.
Open the flow of water through the panel and use the flow-
meter to set a flow rate of 60 Litres/hour to ensure proper
rotation of the balls contained in the chlorine probe.
Set the pH value at 7.00 and the chlorine value at 1.00
ppm (approximately) manually, and allow water to circulate
through the panel for about 4 hours to enable the pH and
chlorine probes to adapt.
