4) INFORMATION: Use a sound absorber (Plastazote) to
reduce noise.
Punch out a piece of Plastazote (diameter of the ratchet unit) and
insert it into the opening for the ratchet unit.
5) Apply the bonding agent to the one-way valve (see fig. 3).
6) Glue the one-way valve into the opening of the lamination adapter
(see fig. 4).
Disassembling the one-way valve
1) Remove the one-way valve from the shuttle lock.
2) Remove the piece of Plastazote from the opening of the ratchet
unit.
3) Install the ratchet unit according to the instructions for use of the
shuttle lock.
6 Cleaning
Dirt in the product reduces the negative pressure between the liner
and the prosthetic socket. If dirty, the product must be cleaned
according to the following instructions:
1) Rinse the product with warm, clean fresh water.
2) Dry the product with a cloth or allow it to air-dry.
7 Maintenance
► A visual inspection and functional test of the prosthetic compon­
ents should be performed after the first 30 days of use.
► Inspect the entire prosthesis for wear during normal consulta­
tions.
► Conduct annual safety inspections.

1.1 Conception et fonctionnement

La soupape de purge 6A42 permet de faire le vide entre le manchon
et l'emboîture de la prothèse. La soupape de purge doit être collée
dans l'ouverture proximale d'une prise rapide (modèle recommandé :
6A40) et la broche doit être introduite dans cette ouverture en cas
d'utilisation de la prise rapide. La soupape de purge peut être utilisée
à titre d'expérience ou en permanence.
