Verschmutzungen gemäß den nachfolgenden Anweisungen gereinigt

1) Das Produkt mit warmen, sauberen Süßwasser spülen.
2) Das Produkt mit einem Tuch abtrocknen oder an der Luft trock­
nen lassen.
7 Wartung
► Die Prothesenkomponenten nach den ersten 30 Tagen Gebrauch
einer Sichtprüfung und Funktionsprüfung unterziehen.
► Die komplette Prothese während der normalen Konsultation auf
Abnutzung überprüfen.
► Jährliche Sicherheitskontrollen durchführen.

des Verwenderlandes und können dementsprechend variieren.
8.1 Haftung
Der Hersteller haftet, wenn das Produkt gemäß den Beschreibungen
und Anweisungen in diesem Dokument verwendet wird. Für Schäden,
die durch Nichtbeachtung dieses Dokuments, insbesondere durch
unsachgemäße Verwendung oder unerlaubte Veränderung des Pro­
dukts verursacht werden, haftet der Hersteller nicht.
8.2 CE-Konformität
Das Produkt erfüllt die Anforderungen der europäischen Richtlinie
93/42/EWG für Medizinprodukte. Aufgrund der Klassifizierungskriteri­
en nach Anhang IX dieser Richtlinie wurde das Produkt in die Klasse I
eingestuft. Die Konformitätserklärung wurde deshalb vom Hersteller in
alleiniger Verantwortung gemäß Anhang VII der Richtlinie erstellt.

1.1 Construction and Function
The 6A42 one-way valve is used to generate negative pressure
between the liner and the prosthetic socket. It is glued into the prox­
imal opening of a shuttle lock (recommended: 6A40) through which
the pin is inserted when the shuttle lock is in use. The one-way valve
can be used for test purposes or permanently.

1.2 Combination possibilities

This prosthetic component is compatible with Ottobock's system of
modular connectors. Functionality with components of other manufac­
turers that have compatible modular connectors has not been tested.
