1) Open all hook-and-loop closures.
2) Guide the arm through the shoulder cuff (see fig. 2).
3) Apply the shoulder cuff to the shoulder (see fig. 3).
4) Fasten the hook-and-loop closure on the upper arm strap (see fig. 4). In doing so, make sure
the seam is below the shoulder joint gap.
5) Bring the chest strap around the chest (see fig. 5). In doing so, position the axilla pad under
the axilla.
6) Fasten the chest strap buckle on the shoulder cuff.
7) Adjust the length of the chest strap with the hook-and-loop closure (see fig. 6).
8) Guide the forearm through the forearm cuff (see fig. 7). In doing so, the snap fasteners on the
forearm cuff have to be on top.
9) Make sure that the snap fasteners of the forearm strap are close to the pivot point of the elbow
joint without allowing the orthosis to cover the olecranon (see fig. 8).
10) Fasten the hook-and-loop closure on the forearm strap (see fig. 9).
11) Choose the connecting straps and attach them to the snap fasteners on the shoulder cuff.

13) Guide the connecting straps through the strap guide loop and adjust the length with the hook-
and-loop closure (see fig. 10). The strain on the shoulder joint should be relieved and the
shoulder should be slightly outwardly rotated.
14) Adjust the length of the support straps with the hook-and-loop closure. In doing so, make sure
that the humeral head is raised by about 1.3 cm - 2.5 cm.
