H. ACCESSORIES AND SPARE PARTS

1. ACCESSORIES AND SPARE PARTS

We recommend that you use only original SCHUBERTH parts and
accessories for your SCHUBERTH helmet, since these are optimized for your
particular helmet model. You can view the available parts and accessories
for your model on our website www.SCHUBERTH.com by visiting the
accessories section for your model.
2. HOW TO OBTAIN ORIGINAL SCHUBERTH
ACCESSORIES AND PARTS
Original SCHUBERTH parts and accessories are available from your
dealer. To find SCHUBERTH dealers in your area, visit our website
www.SCHUBERTH.com, select the Motorcycle category and
then click Dealers
Warning:
For safety reasons, all other parts of the helmet (other than spares/
accessories) must only be replaced by the SCHUBERTH repairs service.
Caution:
When fitting the comfort cheek pad,
take care to ensure that the anti-roll-off
system is correctly joined to the chin
strap. The tabs on the free ends of the
neck bands must enclose the
corresponding ends of the chin strap,
as shown in the diagram opposite, while
the neck bands must not be twisted or
tangled.

Caution:
For helmet sizes up to and including
54/55 it is also important to ensure
that the neck bands are always
threaded through the additional loops
in the neck area.

3. COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS

Your C3 is compatible as standard with the SCHUBERTH SRC System™ and
is authorized for the SRC System™ under ECE-R 22.05. Information about
the SRC System™ is available from your dealer and on
www.SCHUBERTH.com
Warning:
The fitting or attachment of communication systems (other than the
SRC System™), simple headsets, helmet cameras and/or other fittings
onto or in the helmet is deemed to be a modification of the helmet.
Any such communication systems, headsets, helmet cameras and/
or other fittings must therefore be specially tested and approved for
the particular helmet model in question under the European helmet
standard ECE-R 22.05. Otherwise it is most likely that the approval
and insurance conformity of the helmet will be voided when such
items are fitted. The certification for a helmet approval under ECE-R
22.05 – combined with a special communication system – is only valid
if it is registered by one of the official regulatory authorities of the
EU countries. Other information from these institutions (e.g. on the
general suitability of communication systems for use on motorcycles)
or information from other institutions has no relevance here and the
helmet will lose its approval.
