C. THE HELMET

10. VISOR

Regardless of the position of the sun visor, the visor can be moved between
seven fixed positions at any time.
The second locking position of the visor is the city position. The resistance of
the visor mechanism is slightly higher in this position to help ensure that the
visor remains in position, particularly while riding.
TURBULATORS
The patented turbulators situated on the top of the
visor serve to improve aeroacoustic performance
when riding with the visor open. They inhibit acoustic
noise in the form of whistling sounds that can occur
on smooth and flat edges.
COATING
The main panel has a HighClear
anti-scratch coating on both sides.

ANTI-FOG LENS
(not included in delivery; available separately as an accessory)
The visor is a fog-free double-lens visor. By fixing the inner anti-fog lens
using eccentric pins, the two visor panes are pre-tensioned together and
are thereby sealed. An insulating air cushion is thus formed between the
visor's main plate – i.e. the outer plate – and the inner plate, which prevents
any fogging up of the inner plate. The visor of the C3 is compatible with and
can be fitted with a anti-fog lens.

Caution:
To prevent damage to the scratch-sensitive anti-fog lens, no gloves or
other objects should be inserted into the helmet.
Caution:
The anti-fog lens is supplied with a protective film coating. Remove
this film before using for the first time.
Caution:
The anti-fog lens may only be used in conjunction with special
SCHUBERTH visor panes designed for this purpose
OPENING THE VISOR
To open the visor, place your thumb under
one of the finger tabs on the left or right and
then push the visor pane upwards to the
desired position.
CLOSING THE VISOR
To close the visor, grip the left or right-hand
upper finger tab and pull the visor down until
it locks audibly in place.
