3 Presentation

The travflex™ 2 anchor plates are interfaces designed to secure
the anchors of the travflex™ 2 lifeline or the ringflex anchor
rings. These mounting plates are formed by a galvanised or
stainless steel plate and a set of fasteners by which it is directly
mounted on the roof deck sections.
These plates have been tested for mechanical strength by
APAVE SUD EUROPE S.A.S.
The mounting plates for travflex™ 2 lifeline and ringflex anchor
ring are specially designed for installation and use on low-
strength steel roof deck sections with minimum thickness of
0.63 mm and rib length of 125 mm, 250 mm and 333 mm.
The mounting plates for travflex™ 2 lifeline and ringflex anchor
ring can be installed on either roofing or siding.
"Important": The travflex™ 2 lifeline must be installed
on plates supplied by Tractel
strength indicated of 15 kN for the end and intermediate anchors
and 20 kN for the turn anchors.

- Two end anchors (A).
- A flexible belaying support (B) formed by a steel cable and
coupling and shock-absorbing components on each end.
- One or several intermediate anchors (E) varying in number in
accordance with the length of the lifeline when it exceeds
fifteen meters.
- One or several turn anchors (I) used only for a roof-mounted
installation.
The travflex™ 2 lifeline mounting plates (fig. 14, page 8) are
