3. Product description

The guard trac™ or guard trac™ plus system
consists of an aluminium barrier with a rein-
forced concrete counterweight, installed on a
flat roof, along a parapet or along the edge of a
scaffold to prevent people from falling off. The
guard trac™ plus guardrail can also be used
to cordon off a dangerous area (e.g. around a
machine).
Installations should only be carried out in areas
where a parapet of at least 150 mm high is pres-
ent. This parapet may form part of the underlying
structure or be installed on this subsequently. If
this is not the case, the use of the guard trac™
t-b version, which incorporates a toe board as
standard, is recommended.
The guard trac™ or guard trac™ plus guardrail
is fast and easy to install. One of the main ad-
vantages of this equipment is that it can be car-
ried by hand in separate parts, and all individual
components have a weight of less than 25 kg.
The guard trac™ or guard trac™ plus guardrail
is self-standing and can therefore be set up on a
roof or terrace without drilling, which reduces the
risk of leaks and the need for additional main-
tenance. The guard trac™ guardrail does not
require any tools for installation.
The guard trac™ or guard trac™ plus guard-
rail can be used on roofs covered with PVC or
bonded bitumen, in compliance with directive
1907/2006/CE and standard ISO 11014 and
also EPDM type membrane (Two-leaf standard
