5.2 - OPERATION AND ADJUSTMENT OF THE ERGOPOWER MECHANICAL CONTROLS
LEFT-HAND ERGOPOWER CONTROL
• Lever B (Fig. 11) on the left-hand control operates the front derailleur,
lifting the chain onto the next highest chainring.
Lever B (Fig. 11) may be moved by 1, 2 or 3 clicks, depending on the
derailleur cage position when the chain is [positioned on the smaller
chainring.
• Lever C (Fig. 11) operates the front derailleur, dropping the chain onto
the next lowest chainring.
Derailleur shifts to smaller chainrings are performed by pulling the lever by
1 clicks in a single movement.
• Once the chain is on the smaller chainring, lever B or C (Fig. 11) of the
left-hand control can be moved by 1 click to attain a more precise align-
ment between the chain and the derailleur cage.
RIGHT-HAND ERGOPOWER CONTROL
• Lever B (Fig. 12) on the right-hand control set operates the rear derailleur,
lifting the chain onto the next highest sprocket.
• Lever C (Fig. 12) on the right-hand control set operates the rear derailleur, dropping the chain onto the next lowest sprocket.

5.2.1 - ADJUSTING THE POSITION OF THE OUTER LEVER
The position of the external lever (closer to or further from the brake lever)
can be adjusted by moving the grub screw present inside the Z hole (Fig.
13/14). The correct position of the outer lever must be such that the lever
almost skims but does not actually touch the rubber pad on the brake lever.
If you need to change the position, follow the procedure outlined below:
• Insert a 1.5 mm Allen wrench into the Z hole to reach the grub screw.
Turn the Allen key in a clockwise direction (Fig. 13) if you need to move the
lever further from the brake lever (Fig. 14) or counter-clockwise if you need
to bring the lever closer.
